    I see many patients with Mood Disorders (depression and bipolar disorder), Psychoses including schizophrenia and Anxiety Disorders.

    I have six years experience in Forensic Psychiatry including preparing reports for the courts and for legal counsel. I conduct assessments and treatment for the Accident Compensation Corporation and also consult in the area of Traumatic Brain Injury and its psychiatric consequences. I have extensive experience in Psychiatric Assessments relating to Immigration.

    I have worked in the field of mental health for 12 years and undertook my training as a specialist psychiatrist in Auckland. I work in the public health system on Auckland's North Shore.


    I enjoy working with patients experiencing a wide range of difficulties including depression, other mood disorders, anxiety and psychoses. During my training I developed an interest in maternal mental health and have an interest in working with women.

    My public practice has allowed me to develop particular expertise in crisis care, drug and alcohol dependency, and maternal mental health.

    Julian is a highly experienced clinician specialising in the treatment of depression, anxiety, and complex trauma. With a dedicated focus on PTSD and its sequelae, he has extensive experience supporting emergency services and hospital staff navigating high-pressure environments.

    Julian provides individual psychotherapy for those managing health-related psychological challenges, chronic stress, and relationship difficulties. He offers a grounded, evidence-based approach tailored to each client’s unique needs.

  • Dr. Dilrukshi De Silva

    I am a General Adult psychiatrist and am originally from Sri Lanka. I obtained a Doctor of Medicine in psychiatry in Sri Lanka and board certified as a consultant psychiatrist in 1993.

    I worked in Victoria, Australia for 4 years before migrating to New Zealand in 2001 and have been working both in government sectors and private sectors as a vocationally registered psychiatrist.

    I am an affiliate member of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. I supervise medical undergraduates from the University of Auckland who attend psychiatry rotations in mental health services, provide clinical supervision to house officers and registrars from the Auckland registrar trainee program, and supervise GP interns who have special interest in psychiatry.

    I am keen to see patients with psychotic disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders and ADHD. I am a good listener and an empathic psychiatrist.

    Rajan is a Clinical Psychologist who has experience with a range of mental and emotional conditions - having worked across the spectrum of community, forensic inpatient, private and charitable/ NGO practice settings in Auckland.

    He works within public health services where he is a consultant psychologist and clinical leader for therapies. He has an academic interest in organisational dynamics and role development for system leaders.

    Particular areas of interest include the assessment and treatment of mood disorders, anxiety disorders (including obessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), cognitive disorders (as the result of possible dementia, head injury or other neurological conditions) and psychotic disorders.
